Aliev Ordoubadi

     I'm an independent filmmaker, cinematographer and visual storyteller. my love for MOTION PICTURES was inspired by my father, an award-winning war documentary filmmaker. I started learning about celluloid photography in early childhood - 1995. Later on, during my film-animation studies in art school, I directed my first short film “m135” in 2002. Since then, I took parts as STEADICAM operator, director and cinematographer on most of the film sets. I took two years course for private/commercial pilot license and I have piloted planes, mostly with piston engines.

Storyboarding

Basically, narrative way of storytelling is where I am passionately focused on. I shoot Feature films, music videos, commercials, documentaries and short films. I do storyboarding and Coloring.

In Southeast Asia - 2013, My close collaboration with Laurie K. Gilbert, a globally known Director of Photography, with decades of experiences in Aerial filmmaking, and the founder of Aerial Marine Media SDN BHD, led me into learning about aerial cinematography-photography with Robinson/Airbus turbine (JET) helicopters. I am one of the cofounders of OBUR Production SDN BHD along with Farbod Khoshtinat,  an award-winning film director. OBUR Production is A VFX company with the mission to provide quality Services to its Malaysian and international clients.
